    The working unit

Every part shows its work — or says it is missing.

A signal without a reason it is yours is a news alert. A reason without a next step is homework. We publish the parts we can stand behind, we show the record under each one, and we name the parts we cannot — including the one we have not shipped yet.

    01 · The signal

What happened, with the record attached.

The boundary. Every fact carries its publisher and the date we retrieved it. Our reading of those facts sits in a separate box, labelled as ours, with its confidence stated — and when the reading is thin, the confidence says so.
    02 · The match

Why this one is yours, field by field.

The requirement read from the record, joined against the named field on your capability profile — dosage form, modality, scale, geography, certifications — so a match you disagree with points at the exact profile field to argue with.

The boundary. We only claim a match on a field the record actually states. Nothing is inferred to make a row line up, and a dossier that clears the bar on two fields says two, not four.
    03 · The next action

An opener you can paste into your own tools.

A ready-to-use email and call opener built from this dossier's evidence, with the merge fields it still needs listed rather than silently filled. Written to be adapted, not sent as-is.

The boundary. Nothing sends from here. There is no send button anywhere in the product, and there is no mailto on a contact. The absence is the design.
    Not shipped yet

The contact is the part we have not built.

The design has always been a signal, a reason, and a person to call. Today the product publishes the first two. Contact records are licensed or hand-verified — never guessed, never scraped — and we have not turned that on. So every dossier in the current edition reads “No verified contact yet for this organisation.” That line is in the sample below, unedited, on the dossier we chose to show you.

We would rather ship two parts that hold than three where one is invented. A guessed address costs you a bounced send and a worse sender reputation; it costs us the only thing this product is selling.

When it ships this block disappears, the dossier gains a third part, and the chip in the hero reads a verified contact. Nothing else on this page changes — the sample already renders the state it will replace.
The product, not a picture of it

    A real dossier, redacted.

This is not a mock-up and not a marketing illustration. It is dossier #1 of the current edition, rendered in the same components a subscriber reads, with identity removed and nothing else changed. No sentence here was written for this page. The thin parts are thin here because they are thin in the product.

Every dossier is joined on the same 5 dimensions. Only the 2 capability dimensions — modality, dosage form — are counted, and they are the denominator in match 2/2. geography and therapeutic area are context: true of both sides, worth stating, and not evidence that you can make the product — so they are shown and not scored. named incumbent manufacturer is an opportunity dimension: it says nothing about what you can make, it says the work is already being done by somebody else and is therefore winnable. It is scored and it is deliberately outside the capability fraction — a card still needs a real capability match to exist at all. not matched means we evaluated the dimension and found no overlap; it does not say which side was silent.

Read this as one match, not two.

These two dimensions are one fact. The INN stem classifies this molecule as "Monoclonal Antibody (mAb)", and that class is parenteral by construction — so "Sterile Injectable" was already knowable from the molecule class and is not a second, independent test of fit. Read this as one match on two axes, not as two pieces of corroboration.

1Facts and analysis never share a box

This box is source-backed records only, in mono, with the publisher attached. Note the chip says retrieved — that is the date we fetched the record, not a date the agency published. An unlabelled date next to a publisher’s name is a misattribution, and this product does not make it.

2The ledger reconciles, or nothing publishes

Records reviewed must equal supporting plus weakening plus context-only plus identity-only plus unaddressed. It is arithmetic you can check from your chair. That is what stops us quietly dropping the records that argue the other way.

3The gap is stated, not filled

No verified contact exists for this organisation, so the dossier says that instead of showing a guess. This is the part of the product we have not shipped, and it looks the same on the public page as it does in the product.

    4There is no send button

The opener is a copy target, and it lists the merge field it still needs rather than inventing a first name. Outreach happens in your own systems, under your own compliance rules.

    What we redacted, and why

The record above is a public FDA record, so we could legally name the firm. We don't. A third party's worst week is not our marketing, and a sample that names them would contradict the governance argument on the next page. Your own company name is redacted for the same reason — in a live dossier the match line names you. In your edition every one of these values is present; this is the only place they are removed.

removed — the sponsor’s name · the named incumbent manufacturer · your company’s name · the brand name · the application number and record URL
kept, verbatim — every date · every status · the evidence roles · the provenance chips · the accounting · the counterevidence sentence · the qualifier, its counts and its caveat · all fifteen coverage rows, their statuses, reasons, assessments and outcomes · the opener and its unfilled merge field
    The part that is ours

The same event produces a different dossier for every supplier — or no dossier at all.

Signals are public. What is not public is the join: every candidate event is scored against your structured capability profile — dosage form, modality, scale, geography, certifications — and only what clears the bar for your profile is written up. This is why an edition is short, and why yours does not look like anyone else’s.

    Rank shows its inputs.

Every dossier carries the line that produced its position — match 2/2 · 1 independent · trigger 41d ago — instead of a single composite number. There is no blended score anywhere in the product, because a number you cannot decompose is a number you cannot disagree with.

    Scope, stated plainly

    What this does not do.

Written here rather than discovered in month three.

    ✕Predict outcomes

These are briefings, not forecasts. Nothing here is a probability that a deal will happen, and no number on any page should be read as one. When we have enough outcome data to calibrate a prediction, we will say so and show the calibration.

    ✕Supply contacts, today

No dossier in the current edition carries a verified contact, and the dossiers say so on their face. When contacts do ship they will be licensed or hand-verified per dossier, carrying the date they were checked — never guessed, never scraped, and never a database we sell.

    ✕Cover every source

Coverage is a published list, not a claim. The sources on the list are named in the sample above with their status and, where they failed, the reason. Sources are added by configuration, and the table grows with them.

    ✕Send anything on your behalf

No send button, no mailto, no sequences, no automated outreach of any kind. Openers are copy targets, and what happens after the copy is yours.

The governance argument is a page, not a footnote.

How this product is allowed to know what it knows: who operates it, what consent the marketplace signals sit on, the aggregate-only line for buyers and the floor that enforces it, and why ranking is not for sale.

    Where this leads

Signal is how CDMO Hub introduces itself.

The marketplace is where buyers and contract manufacturers actually find each other — a profile there is what makes your capabilities searchable by the sponsors looking for them. This product exists to show you the kind of opportunity that turns up, and then to point you at the door.

    Questions we actually get

    Frequently asked

How is this different from a general sales-intelligence tool?

General tools tell you an event happened. The work here is the join: each event is scored against your structured capability profile — dosage form, modality, scale, geography, certifications — so what reaches you is what plausibly fits what you make. Two suppliers watching the same week receive different editions, or one of them receives nothing.

Can I see the product before I talk to anyone?

Yes. The sample dossier on this page is dossier #1 of the current edition, rendered in the same components subscribers read, with identity redacted. Nothing about the layout, the evidence handling or the gaps has been improved for display.

    Are buyers identified to me?

No. Companies named in a dossier are named from public records that already name them. Signals derived from marketplace activity are reported only as aggregates over a minimum cohort of distinct buyer organisations, and below that floor the panel is omitted entirely rather than shown in a weakened form. The full policy is on the governance page.

Does it send outreach for me?

No. There is no send button, no mailto and no sequencing anywhere in the product. Openers and templates are copy targets that you adapt and send from your own systems, under your own compliance rules.
